Dilshad Aliyarli
Dilshad Aliyarli is a veteran journalist with more than 25 years of experience in broadcasting and digital media. She is currently the multimedia editor of VOA’s Azerbaijani service. Aliyarli was an important contributor to the launch of VOA Azerbaijani’s TV programming in 2004 and was the first anchorwoman of the first daily and weekly TV shows transmitted from Washington to Azerbaijan. Since then, she has presented more than 500 editions of the flagship weekly “America Icmali,” the first professionally executed TV show introduced by international media to Azerbaijan.
